Final Fantasy!!!!

Haha… I am writing about Final Fantasy because I was just tempted to buy a Final Fantasy magazine this morning. Actually the magazine has been around since a month ago and initially I was not interested at all. But today when I went to TGA, there was one ‘sample’ magazine and after I flipped through the content… aha…!!! So I bought it (the tendency of consumerism may also be due to the fattening of pockets from all the hongpaus…hehe…). There are so many nice pictures inside and the real ‘puller’ is the photos of FF merchandises (aka the figurines). I have not bought the real figurines so now just enjoy the pictures of them first. Lol. But hey…not bad… I got the information that last July there was a Final Fantasy concert in Indo. Wow…. I never knew that.

So this magazine has really re-awakened the fantasy spirit within me. I watched the vcd containing all the FMVs from Final Fantasy VIII and ah….the spirit has been really awakened which makes me writing about this. Hohoho…. I guess I will write about what I think about the Final Fantasy series so far.

FF I and II were released at the last days of Playstation as Final Fantasy Origins. I still have no time to play them because the release was too close with the time I had to go to Singapore. Moreover, I read game magazines that the games are very difficult. That really turned me off. Haha… Lastly, as the games were released initially for Super Nintendo (or even Nintendo???) the graphic is ew…. Sorry but no matter what the treat for the eyes is the most important factor for me before buying or playing any game.

FF III has never been released in Playstation so I really have NO idea about this game at all. Nor its character. In the magazine I bought, I just learnt that the main hero of FF III is called Luneth. A pretty weird and unusual name, I think.

FF IV and FF Anthology (FF V and VI) were released way long before FF Origins so I played them all. Though the graphic is still pathetic, I still played them because I had so much free time then. Since it was about 5 years back, I almost remember nothing about the game (which means the games are not so interesting to me, perhaps it is because of the graphic again). I recall that there is one chest I have not opened in the last dungeon of FF IV because after opening the chest, I have to fight a White Dragon (if I remember correctly) and I was not able to defeat it. For FF V, I named the main character Gary. Gosh…it makes me want to repeat the game again. I named it that way because I don’t know the official name (usually the computer will ask us to rename not to give a name). Now I know his name should be Butz (another weird name). FF VI is quite a long game with so many characters and I remember vanish+x zone combination to annihilate any enemy which comes along. This combi is like a cheat for an easy win. And yup there is Shadow’s subquest which is quite troublesome to play (and unfortunately I can’t remember any single thing about it now).

FF VII is my most hated Final Fantasy game!!!! While the graphic is much better than the previous FFs, I find it weird. For example: the arm looks like two buns joined by a thin stick. Ew… It is weird!!! I also find that the text is small so I hate this game. It is so time-wasting too to gain experience of the Materias. To illustrated how gross the process is: to increase a level, a few THOUSAND ability points (AP) are needed; however, from a battle, the amount of AP obtained is about <20.>

FF VIII is the best FF (to me)!!! I don’t know why so many people hate it with so many bullshit reasons of theirs. Hahaha… I love it because the characters are drawn with normal human height (not chibi-SD style) and the characters’ designs are so eye-catching. Quistis is the best and Rinoa looks like a Chinese (what a revolution to find an asian face in a game)!!!! The game does not really need collecting money or gaining level and thus I can understand the storyline better. The extra card game is really fun!!! Until now I still cannot complete all the cards without gameshark. Hahaha… The FMVs are marvelous so the gaming experience is really worthwhile. Thus it becomes my favourite FF and the only one that I am obsessed to get the figurines. It also became the first game with soundtrack (Eyes on Me by Faye Wong) and talking about soundtrack that reminds me to search for my lost Dance of the Balamb Fish song and a very memorable Waltz tune. One thing I hate from this game is the opening FMVs which took about 5 minutes.

FF IX is back to chibi-SD mode. I don’t like it because the characters are UGLY. No no no no…. There are so many things in the game which make me hate the game overall. Firstly, the characters are not eye-catching thus no matter how many FMVs given , it is not so exciting to watch. The only normal humans are Eiko, Garnet, and Zidane. The rest are just plain weird. Steiner’s eyes are like gonna pop out, the others have no visible eyes I can see (maybe I am blind -_-). Secondly, the mini games are so difficult, boring, and pointless (such as collecting figurines which you can’t see, collecting COFFEE beans, mognet) and the card game is so disappointing (only can collect 1 card for each type), difficult to understand the rules and the drawing in the cards (the monsters, swords, airships, etc) does not make you tempted to collect all. Thirdly, I got lost in disc 1 Gimazuluke Grotto to find small black chocobo footsteps in the midst of foggy forest and since it is at the beginning of the game, it already gives a bad feeling towards the game! Lastly, an FMV stuck (mine was when Dagger cut her hair->end of disc 2). The first time it happened, it really shocked me because it meant I could not change the disc and continue the game. I re-tried and when it hang over there I pressed any button I could press on the joystick and luckily it went on. A friend of mine got a stuck FMV at disc 4 (Iifa Tree) and he could not complete the game. If that happened to me, perhaps I would have smashed the Playstation to the floor and break half the CD).

The next FFs are in the next Playstation which I don’t own. So it is so sad that I am unable to play FF X which I think is very similar to FF VIII (my favourite!!) in the character design. Though Tidus is better than Squall, I still prefer Quistis and Rinoa to Yuna and Lulu. But Rikku is cute (she is similar to Quistis) Hehehe…. This is the first FF which have a sequel i.e the bimbotic FF X-2 which does not really attract me because I don’t think I am prepared to play a game in which the main hero is a SHE!!!

FF XI seems to be lost in the midst of obscurity (I never heard of it, I don’t know who are the characters, though I have seen a few screencaps). I don’t know what happens with it.

FF XII is another good FF!!! Hahaha… I just love the characters (and got the bunny girl but the pictures are still rare).

There will be FF XIII in PS3 but until now, the game is still being worked out. I read from the magazine that so far only 20% (or 2%... there are 2 pages of info with differing statistic) of the game is done. Thus, no pictures yet!

Seeing the trend, the character designs are moving away from chibi style. So those who love FF VII and IX so much can go to hell. They hate FF VIII because it has better characters and only follow the crowd. My dislike towards FF VII has been lessened by the film FF VII: Advent Children in which the characters are in human size, not chibi style. Ha! Go eat back your words FF VII lovers. This film is indeed much much…..better than the stupid FF Spirits Within movie…. Though I still prefer a film on FF VIII J and I still want to see a good summon such as Shiva or Ifrit or Ramuh, not the weird Bahamut at the Advent Children. But really…it is a good film!

There is Final Fantasy Tactics which I think is another sucky game. It is a very difficult strategy games and it has no nice FMVs as a trophy of overcoming all the hard battles. And from the ending, it seems that the main hero is Delita while throughout the game, I am controlling Ramza. I am confused.

I guess that is all I know about FF right now. But I think there is a trend that the even-numbered FF series are better than the odd ones. I wonder why..

La la la la la la....

There are 2 special occasions which fall on this week. However, both are just ordinary days for me.

First is Valentine’s Day. This is a special day for the lovers and because I am still single (and still want to be free) so there is nothing for me to celebrate. Haha... At the evening, my parents and I went to Raa Cha, a weird Thailand restaurant. The food was suki and barbeque but it was a bit pricey (the serving size was not equivalent to the cost). The meat and the steamboat etc were quite normal and usual. The only thing which caught my attention was the drink. They have varieties of normal drinks but after I saw how they look like, the drinks were unusual. The ice tea was more like tea+milk and the green tea that I ordered was way too SWEET! Such a disappointment >.<

Second is Chinese New Year (which is tomorrow). Because I am not so into cheenah stuff, I don't really find this day as something to celebrate, except that I would be getting a lot of ang paus!!! Hahaha... The visit to relatives will not be so special because I think that my extended family is quite close as a whole. We know one another well and contact one another quite frequently throughout this year. I guess this celebration is really for families whose members live far away from one another and for families in competitive countries (such as Singapore, Hong Kong) where the daily routines are so time-consuming and thus the families are rarely in touch. By the way the picture is for ilustration purpose only because I don't even know what it means. Haha...but I know it is upside down because it is meant to be read from the God of Fortune or something like that from the heaven above. Hahaha...

There is something weird with the postings here. The enter to change paragraph does not seem to be working. I just realise this as usually I only copied and pasted my entries which I had typed using Microsoft Word first. But hey...in November, I typed all my entries using the blogger what... Okay after numerous trials, I have decided that this is stupid!!! What I saw at the non-preview is very different from the preview screen. I think I must change the html setting but my vision blurs as I read the incomprehendable html codes... Haiz... How come got div? I thought 'enter' should be br... Haha..if I wrote the proper html code then on the page will appear as the enter and as the space or whatever. Okay I am confused here and I am sure so are you! And to my horror...the preview page and the page at the actual blog differ too!!! I give up!

Today I helped my dad to clean up the mess from my aunt's house which was flooded. I found some game cd-roms which I always like (since 10 years ago) such as Virtua Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Unfortunately, I could not install the cds. Maybe the cds are spoilt already because of the flood. But some cds are still working just find. There is this christmas album (I know christmas is over) which is quite nice. I thought it was an instrumental album but to my disappointment, there are only 4 instrumental songs. Only 2 of them are nice (I ripped them to the laptop.. Hahaha...). So yup...it was quite disappointing.

It seems that the date of A level result release will be 2 March instead of next friday. It is quite late but I prefer that because it means I have another week here. I packed up my playstation already (it means that I am not gonna play it anymore this holiday) so I guess I will be watching my animes again.

I finished my Romance of the 3 Kingdoms already!!! Hurray..it took me 16 years (in the game of course) or 4 days to unite China. Huahaha... I am really satisfied. I thought it would be impossible to complete that scenario. Although I used a little bit of cheat (like controlling the enemy's armies when my cities were attacked), it was a fulfilling thing.

I just read a mail from Borders that if I pre-order Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I will get a bonus of an Owl plush. After I read more into the offer, I found out that the plush worths $6.90 only. Haiz... I better wait for the price to drop until about $10 like book 6. That will save me more than $30 and I can get 4 owls!!!

To end this, I wish a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR. May success, good health, prosperity, good fortune be with you this year (For me this sentence means I hope that my A level results will be brilliant!!!, I can get into a university faculty which is the best for my future career and life, I will get a lot of money and will always be lucky) Hehehe...

Series of unfortunate events

Ah…woe is me!!! Misfortune is still on me. My game of Arc the Lad was a total failure. I missed out a few items and some hints so I re-played the game. After this repeat, I still could not get the ‘silk belt’ though I followed the guide very carefully. Worse, there is something wrong with the Arc the Lad 2 CD. It could not convert the data from the first game. Conclusion: I have wasted 35 hours (19 hours for the first failure and 16 hours for the replay). Dammit!!! I’m intending to borrow/copy a friend’s CD, hopefully his would be okay. Otherwise it is a total waste!!!

Last weekend I went to Sony Ericsson at MKG and the K800i was out of stock. Haiz.. I might not be able to get a new phone soon. Actually I don’t really mind because when I searched for its feature at the website, I saw that a new model of K810i would be out soon. Either of them would be fine but if the next time I want to buy the K810i is already there, I will surely choose the newer model. Hohoho… My sister brought me the brochure of K800i and it made me love the model moreover. I was pretty confused with Samsung SGH P850. It has 3.2 MP camera too but it is a flip phone (which is what I am looking for). But it seems that Samsung is better for the MP3 player feature. Since I prefer a better camera, I would go for K800i though it is not a flip phone.

Alright, this is the very depressing thing that happened to me!!! There is no more Squall Lionheart of Final Fantasy VIII at Anime Machi. Anime Machi sells it for Rp 310000. I thought it is okay not to buy first because there are Multi and Terminal Games which are selling it too. In the end, I found out that Multi sells it for Rp 485000 and Rp 450000 at Terminal Games. S***! I will not waste another Rp 150000+ for the same item lor. My sister offered her help to check Anime Machi at Citraland and I am desperately praying that it is not sold off yet there.

After the pathetic Arc the Lad, I decided to play a more ‘fun’ game. My pick fell on Romance of the Three Kingdom. It is a game about ancient china. Hahaha… Last time I managed to complete the Yellow Turban scenario. This time I chose the 3 Kingdoms era. It was quite distressing at the beginning because I built a new country (aka starting with ONE city) while the other 3 kingdoms already had 12+ cities each. After 6 years playing (6 years in the game of course!), my dynasty has swelled to 11 cities. Hurray..!!! I am an emperor and my dynasty is given name Chu automatically. This reminds me of my time being a Pikachu mascot!!!! Lol… Although the game is more ‘relaxed’, I am quite furious that it is very difficult to get new officers! My area is comparable to the other 3 areas but each of them has 50+ officers while I only have 20!!!! Yucks!!! It is very difficult for me to expand now because I need the officers as the leaders in the wars. I left some cities with no officers and I do hope it has no bad effects. One thing for sure, this game is much more interesting than RPGs because it is more dynamic (if I re-load the game, the things which occur change too) and there are more surprises and excitement (wiuuuh…the thrill of executing someone or grabbing the cities from others).

It is nearing to the release of A level results and there are so many rumors about the date of release. I heard 22 Feb, 1 March, etc… I personally think that it will be on the 23 Feb. I decide not to care about rumors anymore, just wait for the announcement by MOE.

Thanks to Lynette, I get the chance to go to KTC this weekend!!! Yihaaa…. That means I can exchange my spoilt pirated dvds. I hope after I exchange then I will get the good ones. Hohoho… Though her description of a Guess bag which she wants is so unclear, I guess I will be able to find it. Her description is like: small (about 20 cm…it is the dimension of the what??? Length?? Breadth??? Diagonal???), got zip (initially she said that there was no zip and I was like… what the… a bag with no zip???), as long as there is the metal GUESS sign with a gold pattern around it. Ah I almost forget the last clue: the price is AROUND Rp 100000.

Ah ya…now I dare to confirm that my diet has been successful. I have lost 3 kg. Hurray!!! 2 more kg to go. My physical training has begun again (thank God that despite 1 week of inactivity during flood, I haven’t lost my physical endurance and strength) and I really hope the fats around my belly will disappear. I don’t think I see the effects of the weight loss there but my face is not round anymore!!! I am looking forward to be 53kg anymore…back to my prime time at 15 years old… Tee hee…

Tomorrow is Valentine Day but unfortunately it will be just another ordinary day for me because I am still single. Well…no fret about it, being single is nicer than being attached!!! I love (and want) FREEDOM!!! I shall celebrate it with my imaginary friends.

ANOTHER OBS: Little food, can’t shit, can’t bathe, can’t sleep ….!!!

DAMMIT!!!! The big flood is here again. This time is even more ridiculous than the last time. The water rose up so quickly. In just about 2 hours, it went up from normal to knee level (which means it entered the houses already). Good thing that it happened this morning (at about 7 am). If it were to happen at night, the people would be very shocked when they woke up. After the 2002 (or 2001??) big flood, my house was renovated. It is 2 stair steps higher than previously. Otherwise, it would be already about half the knee INSIDE the house. I hate this kind of thing!!! Even after the rain stopped and the sun appeared, the water level did not recede but the opposite occurred. Freak!!! This flood is not due to the rain (last time it took 3 days for the flood to come) but because the areas surrounding my area closed their water gates. Those areas are lower so they should be flooded first. Now, however, they are still dry!!! It’s not fair. The flood at CBD also ‘magically’ disappeared after hitting 60cm height yesterday… This is very distressing condition. Btw, the developer of my area just boasted their measures (aka various pumps) to fight the flood but it’s all a big bullshit! Look what is happening!! The developer does not learn the real cause of the flood last time. They might as well build our own water gates. It is impossible for my area to hold the water from all the neighbouring places around. Ah, I think it is better for my dad to consider buying a motorboat instead of spending money to exchange my car into a new one. The flood is quite frequent anyway.

I only hope that they don’t cut the water and electricity supply. Otherwise cannot tahan siah… Right now it’s very difficult for me to use the toilet. The toilet bowls no longer work! Believe it or not, the when I flushed the toilet, the water shot up to a very dangerous level. If I shit, I think the shit will overflow to the floor >.< Ewww…okay, I shall not imagine that! Thus the only working toilet is my maid’s. It is an old squatting toilet!!! Yucks!!! Other thing about toilet is that I go to toilet quite often and I despise the idea to go to my maid’s toilet so often. I’m thinking of doing my ‘small’ business at the sinks lah. I can’t really be bothered.

These whole things just make me down. I keep myself hungry in an attempt to prevent from doing ‘big’ business before the flood recedes. I am not in the mood to do any physical exercises to because I am lazy to sweat (and because of my sad mood, my muscles don’t seem like to contract). The chance of losing weight effectively is wasted. Laundry is another big deal as someone who is quite particular about personal hygiene. Ah… I feel like destroying this world but anger is disruptive for my own body.

Another thing which upsets me is my bad luck in downloading good songs last night. Out of 7, only 1 is nice. Haiz…. Sucks liao… Furthermore, my handphone provider is down again. I was still able to sms this morning (about 7am) but no longer able to do so at 10 am. I am so bored. The internet is down too because it is provided by the same telecommunication company.

I just read from a magazine the possible hazards of bad emotions. Here is the list.

Hatred, Jealousy -> high blood pressure, headache, heart problems, stomach problems
Arrogance -> mental damage, stroke, heart attack, death
Fear, Worry -> heart problems, going crazy, panic, depression, heart attack, phobia
Anger -> rheumatism, heart attack, heart failure, cancer, high blood pressure, stomach

Depression -> cancer

Gosh, I experience every one of them ALMOST everyday (except depression) and anger is my favourite one… My age will be shorter than the true capability of my body if I can’t control my emotions.

Anyway, Chinese believe that rain brings luck. A lot of rain -> a lot of luck. I hope it is true especially as the Chinese New Year is coming. It is okay to be flooded now but next time please flood me with good fortune and a lot of money (preferably it would be 100 US$ notes). Haha… bad karma this time and next time it has to be the good one.

I’ll write soon the day-by-day recap plus the “scenery” in front of my house to tell you how gross my condition had been during this terrible period of time.

Insomnia

My gloomy days continue on as for the past few days, I have been having not enough sleep. I keep having nightmares and dreams, hence I can wake up up to 3 times each night. The reason is because the air-con in my room is rather spoilt. It is no longer cooling and it produces funny noises so often. It may not blowing air at all and when it starts to do so again, there will be sound being produced. Because I am so sensitive, this is very disturbing and causes me to wake up >.< The only good thing about my stupid air-con is that last night, when the electricity was off-ed (I don’t know whether it was deliberate to save the nation’s energy or for preventive measures, just in case there was any lightning because it has been raining here for the past week. I learnt that there was a quake on 3 am and that may be the reason of electricity cut too), I was not awake. That means sleeping in my room is just the same with sleeping outside (same temperature). However, I woke up because of the radio set which produces some irritating noises when the electricity was on again. Haiz…basically, due to my high sensitivity, any single thing may also irritate me. No wonder I am so grumpy and aging so fast. I need to control my emotions and feelings well if I wanna live for another few decades!

From the several dreams and nightmares I had, there is one particular dream which caused me to wake up with a very throbbing heart. Though the dream did not quite make sense, it was about A level (no wonder it caused the hugest scare and disturbance). In the dream, I almost missed an A level NIGHT paper (Ridiculous isn’t it?). The paper started at 950 pm and I just woke up at 920 pm. Worse, the paper was Higher Malay. Sorry but I did not take that A level subject. So although everything about it was crazy, untrue, and lame, it still gave me the biggest stress. Everything about exam sucks!!!

This is a new month!!! And so it is time to go surf the net and download again. Haha… it is because new month means new set of phone bill. My younger sister who uses the internet like crazy will be going back to Bandung on Monday and thus the bill this month can be controlled (aka I can control it by using the internet wisely). Hehe.. Actually I have nothing particular to look for in the net since I downloaded few songs last Monday. Out of 4 songs I randomly chosen, 2 was gross!!! I immediately deleted them. I shall pick more wisely next time. The rating system in the site (gendou.com) was so unhelpful because no matter a song is good or bad, all songs have roughly equal rating in the range of 8.4-8.7. There is only a song with 7.9 and I shall pick that to download. Haha.. perhaps my music taste is rather different.

Ah…February also means another REAL, LIVING nightmare. That is A level results. Though the date is not available yet, I can feel the jitters. I am really hoping for 4As, 2 Distn’s, and a B3 or A2 for GP. I don’t know. The results will determine my future which I am still confused about. Thinking about this just sucks sucks sucks…. I still haven’t got any place to stay in Singapore and my parents don’t attempt to find one for me (I know I am old enough but still….finding a place to stay needs parental connection… I practically know NO adults there except teachers etc). They insist on me finding a place with my friends. Haha.. Most of them already got place to stay. Furthermore, it is as if my friends there are so wow…. If they are truly good friends, I don’t need to be ordered and I will consciously ask them to live together. And if I do get a place to stay, I guess I’ll have to do any job which I can land myself into. My sister suggested Sakae. Haha… A good idea (I like the uniform) but I think they require someone who can speak Chinese too. I shall see if I am that desperate. Lol. Though teaching job is really my biggest thing I am hoping for.

However, February brings CNY!!! And that means a lot of ang pau. This MAY be the first time in 5 years that I will be getting ang paus so I hope that results are out AFTER CNY!!!!

One last thing, I am so upset by the lousy quality of Shulato!!!! (Hah..sometimes, I just HATE illegal/pirated stuff). It is very gross because the sound and the text do not coincidence with the mouth movements. It really disrupts the pleasure of watching!!!

Rain keeps pouring down heavily and I hope it won’t cause any flood on the roads from my house to the airport. Thankfully, it’s not the kind of rhythm of the rain that I got to play on the last year Harmoc concert. Okay…I am laming around here.

Gloom...Gloom...

Nowadays, the number of places selling anime OST is dwindling. In fact, there is almost none. Yesterday I went to KTC (another haven for dvd and such stuff) but my search for anime mp3, japanese songs mp3, or anime ost was futile. There was none. I was so down that I did not bring my Dear Boys and Final Fantasy XII to be exchanged with the better ones as these 2 dvds I have are screwed. There was one shop selling recorded anime dvds (I mean the owner download the fansubs and save it to dvd and sell it) but I did not buy because the shopkeeper was so unprofessional. I wanted to buy Prince of Tennis so I asked which episodes they were selling and the answer that I got was "There are 35 dvds". Gosh...I was dumbstruck!!! 35 dvds?? How many episodes are there in one dvd? Idiotic... The "proper" ones that I own have 20 episodes in a dvd. So 700 episodes??? Ridiculous!! I did not buy that >.< In the end I only bought Shulato (it is a very old anime, as old as Saint Seiya TV series as can be seen from the picture). I checked the beginning of each episodes and they are okay so I hope there will be no problem. If I go back there next week, I shall remember to exchange the 2 dvds I want to exchange and go dig out new animes such as Samurai Deeper Kyo and Vision of Escaflowne. I saw them yesterday but I was not in the mood to buy new anime (my intention yesterday was to get SONGS) but I bought Shulato because only one shop selling that. Hahaha...

I checked out Anime Machi but the anime ost there was very few and I could not find what I was looking for. Haiz... I miss the shops where I used to buy and order anime stuff. So in the end of a very long and saddening day, I concluded that I should hunt anime songs from the net. It was fruitless too. But tadaa... this morning (as I am typing this) I can get the songs I want. More surprisingly, it is from the website that I could not download the songs last time. Thank God.

I got another surprise last night. The Kenshin DVD with spoilt episodes could be played from the laptop. I always find it weird that sometimes what the dvd player cannot play can be played by laptop and vice versa. So I watched those spoilt episodes and unfortunately the last minute of the very LAST episode of the series was still SPOILT!!!!! Grrr.... Maybe it is because the dvd is too full lah (it has more episodes than the others of the same series).

Prince of Tennis is a very good anime. It makes me want to play tennis and it has very good songs... I must find it in Singapore though by the time I see the price in HMV I will change my mind. Usually the price of import anime cds is S$60. I wish I can buy online because usually it was about $20. However, I have no visa card yet and I never trust online shopping stuff. Except if I can pay after I receive the stuff.

I guess that's all for today. I did not have enough sleep last night. I had only about 5 hours but interestingly I could not fall asleep again this morning.

My Anime Personifications

I think that these two anime characters best depict both of my double personalities.

Heero is similar to me at the times when I am in a bad mood. He is not very sociable (tends to be personally distant) but is very loyal to his friends. He is cold and seems to be very unfriendly as he focuses more on his duties (though I may not be as dutiful as him) and will do anything to complete his tasks. He comes across as being heartless as he seldom shows his feelings and thus making him a “perfect soldier” in the anime. These traits are so like me. Those who know me will agree with my words above. Lol. Our physical appearance is quite similar (Don’t you think so??) with black and quite messy hair. He wears knee-length shorts in the anime (and jeans in the movie). While I don’t really fancy jeans, I do love wearing shorts, which are much shorter than what he wears. I prefer slack clothing than tight one too! Wow…I never expect that there would be such fictional character who can be so similar to me. The only difference between us (hahaha…I’m talking as if he is a real person) is our physical abilities. He has 2X physical prowess than normal human being while mine is ½ than that of normal human. So I guess I’m not so talented in the brawn side but I am confident that I am better at the brain side.

Eiji is a new character I like due to the similarities I have with him (except the sports department!!!) when I’ve gone crazy. Eiji always smiles in the anime, is talkative often jokes without thinking the consequences in advance (aka can be insensitive). From the way he plays his tennis, I can also tell that he is quite selfish and immature. The similarities are less as compared to Heero but perhaps I like this character because it shows the type of person I like to be my friend. Fiuh…truthfully I am tired of guys who don’t like to talk or joke. Boring boring… No wonder I feel that I am more connected to girls as they love to talk nonsense. One part in the anime I like about him is when he fights with Oishi (his double partner) because of his childish words and actions. In the end, everything goes back to normal because he is just to talkative to restrain his mouth from speaking to Oishi. Hehehe..

Actually, there is another anime character I like which is Conan. Hohoho… I like him only because he wears glasses and he is super smart. But attitude and characteristics wise, I don’t really feel any similarities lah.

Hahaha…this lame entry is inspired from a radio talk show regarding “imaginary friends” that children have, especially those who are feeling lonely. And guess what, the expert says that it is good to have “imaginary friends”. Haha…while I am glad that I am normal, I am quite sad with the fact that I feel lonely. Nowadays, friends don’t just come so easily.

I am watching Virtua Fighter right now. Currently, there are 3 vcds left and that’s all. The last time I watched it was 5 years ago (or 6) and I have almost forgotten everything about it. The artwork is not so nice (and worsens towards the later episode) and I hate the opening song, ending song, as well as the bullshit Akira always says before fights). But I don’t regret watching it because I always put a very strict selection on animes that I buy. I only keep those with “re-watch” value. Otherwise, I will throw the vcds/dvds already.

One more comic title is down as Kyo has ended. Quite sad but from seeing the design of the cover of the last book and the absence of any summary behind made me realise that no 38 would be the last one. And it is true!!! It has been a long journey (4 years plus which means the first volume came out at about the time I left for Singapore) and I already forgot the earlier parts of the stories. I have to re-read all soon.

I heard from Emma rumors about O level results will be out on the 5th of February. That means A level will be about a week later. I hope these rumors are false as I don’t want to go back to reality of being a student again this soon. I also do not want to miss the fifth time to do “angpau harvest”.

I feel so lucky and thus happy today. Yeeeeehaaaaa…..!!!

Firstly, after I went about cursing about the slow connection last night, I found another site to download the song (Walk On). It was much faster at 4.something KB/sec. Wow…1 song was done in 15 minutes. It is still bad as compared as when I downloaded stuff in Singapore. It took only about 15sec there. However, 15 minutes is still better than 40 minutes plus if I download from the sites with download speed 2. something KB/sec.

My lucky strike continued on today. After 30 minutes of searching, I finally found the site to get the other mp3s I wanted. I got 4th Avenue Café from anime Rurouni Kenshin. The complete song is not as good as the short version in the anime but I still like it. I managed to get the nice Kenshin song which I did not know the title. I only hear it from the dvd at the menu screens. Thanks to animelyrics.com and lady luck, I anyhow tried to see the lyrics of Kenshin songs which I never knew before and tadaaa… at the second try, I found the song. The title is Kimi Ni Fureru Dake De. Woohoo….sugoi!!! It is a great song and has a great arrangement too. Band songs are indeed better than boyband songs because the music is entertaining too.

In the midst of downloading the songs, I met Ake online and went out this afternoon with some of my primary school friends (Ake, Bonita, Nicky). I hate watching movie here and thus only met them for a while and went home when they went in for the movie. It was great to see them. Haha… I guess those are true friends indeed. After 7 years of not meeting one another, we still could talk like last time. One thing I regret is that many of primary school memories are forgotten already. I even forget the name of the people and the teachers. I can’t even recall my ex-classmates. Pity me… My brain is dead. I don’t know what I was doing in my primary school days. Lol.

Well, they said that I have changed a lot. I argued that most guys would change because in our primary school days, we might not reach our puberty yet. However, I was quite surprised that Nicky does not change much (except that he’s growing meatier). So…I don’t know what has happened to myself. I have my P4 photo so I know that I changed a lot. I keep changing!!!! If I look at my primary school photo, secondary school photo, high school photo, secondary school photo in Singapore, and Junior College photo, they all differ. Don’t ask me why. But I think my prime is when I was 15 years old. Going to Singapore only makes me look uglier because I gained weight there (this is surprising because most scholars lost weight because of stress!!! I gained weight because of stress). My face has changed from oval shape into round shape. As a result, my hair is a mess right now (I think I talked about this already last time). Anyway, change does not give a reason for Boni to keep laughing at me. I think she was so surprised that I have become so cute, adorable, and charming. Hahaha…

I realize that I am really not blessed with healthy eyesight. I can’t believe that Nicky only has –1, Ake –0.75, and Bonita still has perfect eyesight. How the heck I can reach up to –8??? Ow please….

Yup…so that’s all the good news I have for today. Hahaha…

I am downloading Prince of Tennis ED03 now and I am close to desperation. The download speed has never been this disgusting! It is 2oo plus BYTES. Gosh.. I think it is because of the website. Can someone help me to download the song first and send to my e-mail? I guess it will be faster that way. Please...those who are in Singapore... I know your connection is damn fast although there maybe some legal problems in downloading mp3. Haha... Be careful and don't hold me responsible for it.

I just realise that actually I can "justify" my entries. I just realised that in my last entry so from now on I shall remember to "justify" my entries. It is nicer to see.

Yucks...the download speed is getting worse. It has dropped to 182 bytes now. I think I will have to give up soon and try it again some other time. I GIVE UP!!!
